About us
A222 is run by Croydon computer freelancers Dave Pape and Andy Ellis.
Dave Pape started his IT career designing databases for a major national food distribution company. He then joined Magic Lantern Productions, an interactive multimedia agency, where he designed and built databases, websites and interactive applications for a wide range of clients in the media industries and the public sector.
Dave also makes electronic music: he's produced music for a number of TV and film projects, and has produced video and audio for the Technicians of the Museum of Techno.
Dave is also webmaster and database administrator for Croydon LETS local barter system.
Andy Ellis started working with computers when punched cards and paper tape were still in use.
During the 1980s and 90s he pursued a successful career as a consultant working with financial institutions, energy companies and the Civil Service.
Early in the 21st century he switched his attentions to smaller systems for local businesses.
Andy is Chairman of Croydon 49th Scouts, Treasurer (and webmaster) of the Heathfield Ecology Society and sits on the Governing Body of nearby Oval Primary School.
