Backup systems
We provide backup systems which are largely automatic, thereby leaving you to get on with business while your computer does the work for you.
Features are:
- Backups automatically run overnight, or when your computer is turned on (or at other times to suit).
- Two or three archive copies of data are kept. If, for example, you amend a spreadsheet on Monday and Tuesday, then on Wednesday there would be archives of both Monday's and Tuesday's versions.
- Backup activity logs are automatically emailed to A222 where a custom written program checks for failures or missed backups so that we can then notify you if there is a problem. Note: that none of your data is emailed to nor visible to us.
We supply and install the supplementary external disks used in the backup process.
